 En el segundo trimestre, el alumnado de primero investigó, también, sobre el Sistema Solar. Consistió en el diseño, construcción y, después, exposición oral de un planetario. Los planetarios se construyeron a partir de material reciclable, y se expusieron en el colegio: 'Solar System Exhibition'. GREAT JOB!

Hello everyone! I hope you are all still well and hanging in there. I hope you can enjoy going for walks and doing some exercise outside. Have any of you been going to restaurants or cafes yet? Here in Scotland we are still in lock down so there aren't any restaurants open. I am looking forward to when they open again! So, this week we are focusing on vocabulary, looking specifically at household appliances. Do you know what I mean by this?  Household appliances are objects and machines that you use everyday around your house. Here are examples of household appliances. Do you already know the names of any of these in English? We are going to look at what some of these are used for and in which room of the house they would be found. Here are a few exercises to get you familiar with the vocabulary and what each appliance is used for. Pay attention to the instructions as there might be more than one thing to do in the exercise.
